More than 37 million Americans are living with diabetes. This month, we’re joining the American Diabetes Association to raise awareness, encourage screening, and support those at risk.

 Here are 5 ways to help lower your risk of type 2 diabetes:

  • Cut back on sugary drinks and sweets
  • Maintain a healthy weight or work toward small, steady weight loss
  • Get regular check-ups and ask your doctor about your blood sugar
